Most commonly for hip and knee surgery, and rheumatoid and osteo arthritis this program will include assessment, individual training, individual and group exercise, gym work and hydrotherapy and focus on:
• improving strength and movement of the operated/injured limb, balance, mobility, flexibility and endurance
• personal care activities
• functional movement
• household tasks
• home safety assessment
• prescription of aids to help our patients maintain their independence
• driver education
